Ah! Bravo! An angry ghost! How exciting! I must be in a poor state by then - even if I did not know you, it must be upsetting to find out one had a twin brother who one has been accidentally framing for crimes and then immediately kill him over ideological differences!

Well, perhaps they should have thought of that before starting a war! And over something so nebulous, too!

Well, speaking from the future, we can see how Truth and Ideals are really hand-in-hand but back then they probably didn't.

Even excusing all of that, it's a foolish thing to start an actual war over. Most wars are about...resources, or land rights! That is worth nothing more than a regular argument or two!

What about clan conflicts over what came first, the space or the time?

Or religious differences, I suppose. I am hardly claiming that was not foolish! It always made me feel a little bit disloyal to my Clan, in early days, but I never really could muster up the level of concern about it all that most people did. Suppose it was true, and the Diamond Clan really were worshiping Palkia, and had mistaken its nature - clearly it did not mind very much! Why should we?

People like to have something to fight or complain about. I think we are like Pokemon in that way.

That is why we need to come together! They are better at solving such conflicts among themselves without widespread bloodshed - and, when they are not, the presence of a powerful trainer can help! Ah, but I am preaching to the choir, talking to a man of the future!

I do not feel entirely like one yet. All of the memories I've recovered are still scattered like so many beads - I have not strung together any longer periods of time yet.

[It seems pretty random; sometimes they're from childhood, sometimes from adulthood, never really having anything to do with the last one. Emmet is typically there. They really were around each other pretty much every day, he supposes - but that's not too surprising, given that they're the same now.

He stretches, and settles back against Emmet's side.]

But that is alright! I do not feel so alienated from them anymore. I suppose they will return in their own time.

Like I one time saw a TinkaTok about this thing they do in Kanto or Johto or something where they fix broken things with gold and celebrate that, maybe your memories will be like that?
