[Apparently a universe where he founded Team Plasma is within the bounds of reasonable, but one where he is just a total hypocrite is beyond the pale!]
And I still have a very cool long coat to flap behind me!

[A beat.]
Detective Berglund was a jerk last episode.

[Not that Ingo is a particular Detective Berglund fan, but he tends to sympathize with most characters who aren't just outright awful!]
Yes, that too. But you all think that he is dead, so there is certainly no thought in anyone's mind of all that when I appear! It was decade ago! And I suppose I would not see you until much later in any case, or else we would have just had a dragon battle then.

[Emmet on the other hand, does not sympathize with or like Detective Berglund and had made this clear in the past.]
Maybe it is like a slow build-up, seeing each other in a crowd and stuff.

[This guy isn't even Ingo's tenth favorite character, he is just too soft-hearted.]
Ah, yes - I do not know we look alike at all, only that there is one detective coming after me very intently, and you probably think I am using some sort of disguise to frame you on purpose! And then I think that I have killed you in the dragon incident, so there is nothing more to do about it!

[Emmet thinks.]
Maybe you think I am an angry ghost after the dragon incident?

[He's not actually sure whether or not either of the original kings ended up killing one another, but they started a whole war about it?]

[It seems pretty random; sometimes they're from childhood, sometimes from adulthood, never really having anything to do with the last one. Emmet is typically there. They really were around each other pretty much every day, he supposes - but that's not too surprising, given that they're the same now.
He stretches, and settles back against Emmet's side.]
But that is alright! I do not feel so alienated from them anymore. I suppose they will return in their own time.
