Ingo
He was brought back to the Pearl encampment and treated for exposure. After discovering his memory loss, they kept him there for a few weeks, waiting to see if his memories might return as well as sending messengers to Jubilife Village and the Diamond Clan to see if any of them knew who he was. All of this turned up negative. This was a very stressful time for Ingo; it was still undecided what would happen to him if no one could figure out where he belonged, and he was terrified of having to leave the Pearl camp, which was all he really knew of the world at that point. He was also still recovering from the sudden memory loss and whatever caused it, so in general spent a lot of this period dissociating. Fortunately, Irida, the young recently-ascended Clan leader, championed his cause and he ended up being adopted as a new Clan member.
Initially, Ingo took up foraging and hunting duties as an ordinary Clan member. But it quickly became apparent that he was far more comfortable with Pokemon than most; he was quite eager to try and befriend any wild Pokemon who weren't outright aggressive, and even got himself injured and poisoned rescuing a young Gligar from some Rufflet bullies. Getting poisoned would be a running theme in his life! Gligar became his first Pokemon companion, and he started making a name for himself in the Clan as a guard who could handle most wild Pokemon threats.
During the time, he had his first serious Pokemon encounter when he lost his footing on an incline and accidentally slid into the territory of an alpha Garchomp. Gligar was not powerful enough to defeat it, and Ingo suffered some significant injuries, but was rescued and healed by a generous group of wild Chansey and Blissey. He also met Lady Sneasler, though for their first several meetings he was unaware that she was a Noble. She eventually challenged him and Gligar to a battle, which they also lost, but the fight he was able to put up combined with his good humor upon losing impressed Sneasler enough that she chose him as her new Warden.
Ingo moved to a camp in the Coronet Highlands near Lady Sneasler's den and became acquainted with the people and Pokemon there. It was during this time that he befriended Tangela and Machop. He also fell from a cliff while climbing and got the back injury that causes his persistent slouch. While living far from the main Pearl encampment, and away from his normal community support, he became more acquainted with other Wardens, traveling merchants from the Gingko Guild, and members of the Galaxy Team's Survey Corps. The latter group introduced him to Pokeballs! In spite of the Clan's opinion, Ingo saw them as very useful tools, and introduced his team to them.
He settled into an ordinary routine here, and lived normally until the great rift above Mount Coronet opened up. Outside of guiding Akari on her way to pacify Lord Electrode, he wasn't very involved in these events; once Irida saw Commander Kamado's growing paranoia about outsiders, she ordered Ingo to remain at his base camp for his own safety and so he was unaware of most of the later events until after the rift closed.
Afterwards, he grew closer to his fellow outsider Akari. The two now work and battle together regularly in an effort to help Ingo recover his memories, though this has not been terribly successful. As it stands, he's aware that he used to battle alongside a man who liked winning and had a strong resemblance to him. Though he's naturally theorized that this person was a family member, he doesn't actually recall the man's face, and so isn't aware that they looked literally identical. As such, he's not really sure what their relation may have been. He also remembers a Pokemon partner with purple flames, who he believes was likely a Hisuian Typhlosion, since it was Akari's Typhlosion that triggered this memory. He hasn't recovered any other significant memories, but he's also become good friends with Professor Laventon after Laventon realized that his mysterious first language was Galarian. He'd grown very rusty with it in the years prior, but now has regular Galarian meals with the Professor to practice. The two have formed a pet theory that Ingo is from Galar, though they haven't been able to decide just how he ended up where he did.
Most of this is pretty flexible in case of canonmates!
physical attributes Ingo's wings resemble those of the legendary dragon of Ideals, Zekrom. His feathers grow in two similar but visually-distinct shades of black, darkest near the tip of his wing, and he has prominent sharp wing-claws. These are slightly flexible, though it would be pretty difficult for him to actually stab anyone with them.
His halo is rather like a golden lens-flare in the shape of an X. It looks like a less ornate version of Arceus's crest, though it is composed entirely of light. It tends to be quite large and hover behind his shoulderblades rather than his head.
Under ordinary circumstances, his eyes remain their natural grey color. When his emotions get heightened, however, they turn bright red like Zekrom's.
non-physical qualities Ingo is far more strong and durable than a regular human. He also has an increased pain tolerance, though this was already rather high to begin with.
reasoning Ingo already has an important cultural office as a protector and guardian! And, of course, a lot of this is due to his own innate desire to safeguard others and encourage their growth. He considers it his responsibility to protect and watch over travelers through his territory, but this doesn't seem to actually be a traditional Warden duty at all; he's the only one who personally escorts the player on their mission, even though it doesn't really involve him or Lady Sneasler directly. It's just something he seems to have taken on of his own accord. He also takes up a similar role to his Subway Boss days in Hisui, working at the Training Grounds to help trainers in the region develop their skills and reach new heights.
History
Eight years ago (in Folkmore canon, but this is flexible generally), Ingo mysteriously found himself standing in the snow in the middle of the Alabaster Icelands. He had no memory of how he'd gotten there, or anything else aside from his own name. Dazed and confused, he wandered around aimlessly, but he was poorly dressed for hiking in the tundra and likely would have died of exposure if he was not rescued by members of the Pearl Clan.He was brought back to the Pearl encampment and treated for exposure. Iteration
Original canon, though an unspecified amount of time after the post-game of Pokemon: Legends Arceus. Ingo has continued his work at the Training Grounds in Jubilife Village in addition to his Warden duties, and has grown much closer to the protagonist (who is Akari in his iteration). She has already defeated Volo, and Ingo was told about this incident, though he had little interaction with Volo beyond what's seen in canon and has not seen him since. Ingo is also aware of her mission from the almighty Sinnoh to complete the Pokedex, and regularly helps her search out new Pokemon. He's encountered several of the post-game legendaries, and battled against some as part of his Path of Solitude challenges, but the Pokedex is still not complete and he is unaware of where Akari comes from and what exactly might happen when she does finish her mission. Most of this is pretty flexible in case of canonmates!
