<NOBORI> Hello! This is Ingo!
<NOBORI> How may I help you?

<TheCoolestTurtle>
It would've been 1000% worth the shuckening part 2 if I was actually a turtle.
<Nobori>
If I may ask - what are you, now?
<TheCoolestTurtle>
A spider, somehow! Very rude of Mana to do, T B H. I'm clearly meant to be a turtle! Born a turtle and I'll die a turtle. I'll figure out how to get to being a turtle again soon enough.
<Nobori>
I may not know you well, but you are a remarkably resilient and good-humored young man!
[yeah this is just how being around Ingo is]
I'll admit, I'm not sure what a turtle is myself.
But perhaps you could research what sort of monsters resemble one, and then ask for that instead?
<TheCoolestTurtle>
Are you like Gladion and from a weird world with different animals going on?
Maybe a mermaid would be close enough? Turtles are aquatic.
<Nobori>
We have Pokemon, not animals, but I suppose it is a similar concept!
If that is so, it may work! Mermaids seem to come in quite the wide variety of shapes!
<TheCoolestTurtle>
I can't believe it!! You and Glads are from the same place???
similar but diff. Glads and I went to the zoo to look at animals. He was writing in this little notebook comparing them to pokeman.
<Nobori>
Not the same place precisely - he is from an island region across the ocean, and a few hundred years in the future besides! But the differences are not so great that we cannot understand each other!
[There's a certain level of understanding between those who have known Pokemon, he thinks, that isn't quite there with others.]
Oh, yes? He could likely tell you what Pokemon resemble turtles, then!
<TheCoolestTurtle>
I'll ask him. I did show him actual turtles while we were there.
<Nobori>
This place was extremely overwhelming to me when I first arrived!
Even now, it often seems like a lot.
[The description of Gladion reads oddly to Ingo, who met him under entirely different circumstances. Well, maybe that's how he is with peers, when things are...relatively safe.]
Gladion has been very helpful since I've been here!
<TheCoolestTurtle>
If you ever need any Sick Tips, I'm here. I'm from New York, it's waaaay bigger than this. Though Glads already got you covered. I'll just be backup for the backup.
That's cool. Sounds like you need the help getting used to a city. He's got that on lock, at least some of it. He takes all those notes too.
<Nobori>
Yes - we are considering moving out of the city, though not entirely on my account. But we all still work here, so we will be returning regularly!
<TheCoolestTurtle>
Are you guys going to just live in the wilderness?
<Nobori>
[And admittedly, it's probably safer anyway. He hasn't got Pokemon here to stop anything from knocking over his tent.]
But outside of city limits, at the very least.
From what I have seen, and what longer-term residents have said, it seems that disasters often center upon Bavan itself. We may in fact be safer to be more isolated.
<TheCoolestTurtle>
Yeah, Bavan seems like it gets messed with like constantly. Can't picture living out of a city tho, feels too weird to me at least.
<Nobori>
Or in a place with more than thirty or so other people.
This has all been very strange to me.
<TheCoolestTurtle>
The apartment is exciting but weird, a lot noisier than the sewer system.
<Nobori>
[He doesn't feel like it was a terrible way to live at all - no matter what other people seem to think of it! Also, he's not entirely sure what a sewer is and he isn't sure how to ask!]
It is quite loud here, isn't it? That has certainly been striking to me as well.
<TheCoolestTurtle>
I'm used to New York being loud, but when you live underground and just hear the water or trains rushing by it seems a lot more distant tbh.
<Nobori>
[You do not leave your station just by walking away!]
I do enjoy the trains.
I have been working in the subway with Emmet.
<TheCoolestTurtle>
I've only been on the subway for real once. We usually lived like under them or near them in the tunnels. Very cool, but too many humans. At least back home.
<Nobori>
But evidently I used to work in one, so it seemed interesting to try it again!
[Also, admittedly, it was sort of an olive branch towards Emmet.]
<TheCoolestTurtle>
Has it been fun doing that again? I guess you don't remember working there before?
<Nobori>
It is interesting! I enjoy helping people find their way to their destination!
But Emmet tells me that I had a much more advanced position before, and I am starting to feel that myself - as I am getting more used to it, my current position is not very exciting. I cannot even see the trains most of the time!
<TheCoolestTurtle>
Do you just stay on the station all the time now helping people? What kind of position was it before? Did you drive the trains? That seems pretty important.
<Nobori>
